2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Spyder 5-Speed Manual suddering at high rpms?

I just test drove the car stated above. As with all test drives, I put the car through it's paces. I found that at about 4500-5000 rpms the car made a shuddering noise coming from somewhere in the engine compartment. The owner (knowing very little about cars) claimed that someone had told him that it was a feature Mitsubishi included in their cars to stop from over-reving the car. However, the car doesn't redline until 6000, making me skeptical. Anyone else have this problem or know what it is?

Hes being unfair to a point. Theres nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself with a diet. BUT!!!.. if the diet your doing is starving yourself then it is completely wrong. From what i see though you have a good diet plan. Where I'd side with him is that I like every other guy, have a sense of accomplishment and pride when we do something thats out of the ordinary to win your aproval (IE the bread). Its a primal thing. The "who should cook what" argument can be settled simply by this, by maybe making a main meal and a little bit larger salad. If you make a main meal and salad he can have his meal while still trying some salad, which you can eat as a main course.

you probably have a bad wire or bad board potentially bad eyes (if it has eyes) you could also have a bad battery connector. I would also recommend checking all the o-rings in the gun if your friend gave you a bad gun it probably has bad seals that leak.

honestly, its all up to how much each of the factors of owning a supercar matters to you! both are epic driving machines but the porsche does pull ahead in the performance department..things like driving feel, speed and if it matters, feul econ. but the audi is no slouch!! unless you compare the two on a track.. youre not going to be able to feel any difference! the audi is a more "true" supercar to me. it has the perfect combo of speed and looks. also, to me, the porsche seems a bit ordinary. a bit too much like a normal coupe in appearance (although it is far from that). the audi is more "exotic" with its visible mid engine layout and front trunk! plus.. when youre sitting there talking to your friends.. whats going to sound cooler? My shift stick sometimes gets stuck when shifting to 3rd gear. bad or loose shift cable?

my car is a 2002 toyota MR2 spyder with 39k miles. i bought it 3 months ago with this problem. i installed a new clutch kit last month but the stick still gets stuck(not all the time. just sometimes), but most of the time i have to force the lever to get into 3rd(because i encounter some resistance) and it makes a click sound and the gear is engaged with no problem. sometimes i can't shift and i have to press on the clutch again and then it gets into 3rd smoothly. all other gears are easily engaged with no resistance. could this be a bad or loose shift cable? i would appreciate any answer, suggestion or tip. thanks!!

Spyder extra paintball gun leaking c02?

i played one round of paintball yesturday then took a short break, on my way back out it started leaking pretty bad all of a sudden, the leak was coming from the handle, right above the trigger...the ege where the handle screws to the gun....i took it apart and the o-rings look brand new, its only been used 2 games out of the store...any ideas? thanks

you're probably not getting a good CO2 pressure behind the balls and they aren't getting shot out until the third or fourth ball like you've said. That would also explain why they are going a couple of feet. You may need a new hose, or the the spring in the firing pin isn't working well.

Which is better paintball barrel ?

To be honest, the length of the barrel does not affect the accuracy that much. Sure it might affect the distance, but most paint won't break after a certain distance anyway. I would just go with the 16 inch barrel because anything more would honestly be way to much and just for show.

Sounds like it might have a possible vacuum hose leak. Check your vacuum hoses by spraying something like wd-40 around areas where your vacuum lines are and listen for a slight increase in RPMs. If you find where the leak is, then you can fix your issue.

I dont like spyder markers, they have a tendency to break, or chip the bolt, (especially using co2 in coldish weather) the tippmann is basically a 98 custom inside a body kit, the 98 custom is a solid gun, baseline for beginners and i reccomend it to anyone whos on a budget under 200$ i prefer it to the a05 actually, the alpha black body is designed to look like an m16 which gives it a very good look for woodsball, I say go tippmann, you wont be disapointed, I used to swear by a spyder mr4, but now i jsut swear at the hunk o junk, and ive seen other spyders break all the time, Ive seen a guy run over a 98 with a truck just to prove a point.

My mom has asked me if I think I have depression, which in my point of view I have always lived with it, but I chickened out and said no. My life has been weird when it comes to emotions. Like when I was younger I used to have hallucinations where there were bugs on the wall and my mirror was melting and it would make me cry to the point where my parents ran into my room to see if I was hurt. I don't have visual hallucinations any more but when I'm home alone I always hear things banging around. I get so paranoid that I keep a hockey stick and a baseball bat in my room to make me feel safer. I am also very moody. At least once a week I go from being so happy to having a nervous breakdown. It always happens when I'm alone and if I feel the sadness when around others I usually swallow it down until I have to excuse myself. I usually go into the bathroom and cry to get the worst of it out. I find it extremely hard to openly tell my parents what is happening to me and idk why. I guess I dont want to come across as a freak. It has been so bad now that I often think about suicide, I see people in my head trying to control my thoughts, i talk to myself all the time always putting myself down, and during a breakdown the color white makes me go berserk to the point where I feel like I'm having an athsma attack. Its like theres two different "me's" where im fine during the day but at night i become my worst enemy. I really need help but I don't know what to do to get help I know something is wrong with me and I want it to stop before I really hurt myself...like how do I tell someone something so painful that has only been getting worse each day when they have only seen me as the hyper happy girl?

What is causing my washing machine to leak?

I've had a similar problem and I think it could just be due to a dis-aligned washer-tub. Try sticking your hands down on the inside of your washer basin and try to move it around. If it moves, you could try to push it in a position where its more aligned with the top hole of your washer. this could help because if it gets pushed out of position water can leak out the side and then you get a nice big puddle-o-water at your feet. Well I spent the day at six flags today it was fun and only one of my firiends did not feel good, we ignored him and he sat out. We rode alot of stuff and it was hot out kind of. How can I keep my Backyard chickens in my yard?

I live in what's "technically" the city, even though I'm sitting on about 40,000 sq ft of land. I bought out the lots surrounding my little two bedroom so, I have plenty of space for all my critters. I also have a four ft fence that goes around my entire house. However, my silver campine rooster keeps escaping the yard and getting into trouble. Yesterday he had two cats chase him down the street because he got out. I guess I would just like to know if there's any ideas for height of a fence or any other ways I could keep him in my yard. I only have one neighbor who minds him, and he makes sure his kids torment my chicken if he gets out. This needs to stop, I don't want my chicken hurt, I love him too much. Thanks for the help.

Can someone help me with my landlord? She is a nightmare!?

My ex landlord is refusing to give me back my deposit. When I moved into the house I offered her to come and mark down any damages she saw before i moved in. she said that wasn't necessary. I did this because I redid the hardwood floors. I also did all the cleaning and painting before moving in. Was freezing cold outside but she wouldn't allow me to turn heat on because heat was still in her name. I could smell musty moldy in the basement. when I was in the basement cleaning it felt like something was growing in my throat. the landlord said that is because the house had been empty for a while. every time it rained basement flooded BAD. she didn't fix that. Window in basement had NO window in it. In winter my house was 60 degrees when heat was set at 72. (in the one room directly above the window with no window). I said something to her on Mothers Day when she showed up at the house, about the window and she said it would be fixed but not for me. The next renters would have all the things that I was asking fixed fixed for them. I taped this conversation only because my husband thought I was making up on how she treated me and I was appalled that she said that to me. During winter when humidifier needed to be ran, walls would have brown stuff running from the ceiling. She said that wasn't her fault. Mold is growing on brand new windows she just put in last fall and is also growing on the ceiling in the corner of my sons bedroom and in my other sons bedroom is growing on the crease of the ceiling and wall, the last straw was the water heater. It was wet on the floor by the water heater and she knew about it for 2 months before I moved out, and she never did anything about it. She denied knowing about it, but on Mothers day I told her again, I moved out May 31st, and the water heater was still not working right. My husband spoke with her last night and asked her what was going on with our deposit and she said with all the damage that we did, she didn't think there would be a deposit. She was never in the house to see if there was any damage done before we moved in. Her daughter was the one that lived there before us. She is blaming her daughters accidents on us. I offered her to come to see the house and she said no. There was a fridge that is probably 25 years old and she is saying that we will be paying for that to because it is not working. After living there for 8 months, at her and her daughters request, she asked my husband and his company to redo the driveway because it was asphalt and they wanted cement, him being a machine operator for a large excavating company they wanted to get a good deal. She did alright. Not a dime was taken off our rent. We supplied the helpers, food, of course the beers for the guys who had to work on a Saturday for free, and not until this past year did we find out that we were charged for the re-bar and gravel for the driveway. Can someone tell me what I can do about this woman? DO I have a good case here? I should also tell you that I have video tape from when I moved and also took more video when I moved out along with pictures.. I know and learned for this that I will never live somewhere without having a lease. She said that was not necessary because me and her daughter were friends. I should have you know that I am a very clean neat orderly person. Me and my husband are what you could call the dream tenants.THe landlord said the only thing she is responsible for was the property taxes and that was it. Oh and the weekend of Mothers Day, the city sewer backed up in the basement, and she wanted us to pay for the bill to call the plumber in only to find out that it was a city problem. Then when we made a claim with our insurance for the things that we lost, she wanted to add that bill to our claim and the drywall that needs taken out because it was saturated in sewer. So staples has a PC tuneup where you can bring your computer in and they can upgrade it for a fee. I live really close by a staples and I was wondering if I can take my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with a 4gb RAM memory on 64bit operator to staples to have them put in an 8gb RAM memory. I read the booklet that came with my computer and it says "Possible Memory Configuration: 1gb, 2gb,4gb,6gb,8gb" I'm guessing that means I can upgrade my laptop to an 8 gb memory? Rough idle and surging from cold start?

It just recently started where my car will, or will almost die from a cold start. Idling was sort of rough until I turned the idle speed up. Also from a cold start I get a lot of surging. What is causing my car to run poorly and get bad gas mileage?

It is a 97 eclipse spyder with the 4g64 engine (non turbo). It has around 145k miles on it. It idled very rough when in neutral until I turned the idle speed up. I replaced the air intake with an aftermarket one. The filter is clean so I doubt the intake is the cause. I also replaced the mass air flow sensor and spark plugs which didn't help any. These cars are estimated at 23 city, 31 hwy. I average around 18 mpg, and with gas prices as high as they are, I need to fix something. When cold and accelerating, it feels like its dragging a train, then all the sudden it will accelerate quickly and smoothly (only does this when cold). I'm not sure if its the o2 sensor, a vacuum leak, or maybe a computer problem.

My dog throw up this morning?

ok sunday i fed my dog in the morning around 9:00 (the time i usually feed her) i was going out later so i fed her a little early than i usually feed her(i fed her around 4 she usually eats around 6:30) monday i took her out around 8:30 she had a normal poop but she was also trying to eat grass but she wouldn't eat her food so she ate some grass and in the evening around 6:30 i gave her some food now yesterday she was eating normally and she pooped normally but today she threw up yellow bile around 10:15am and then when i took her out to go to the bathroom she had diarrhea (around 11:30) i haven't fed her any food yet because i heard you should with out food for at least 24 hours and then slowly introduce bland foods (last time she ate was 6:30pm yesterday) so i'm wondering should i try to feed her rice and boiled chicken tonight she seems hungry and she did drink some water last time she had this problem she didn't have anything wrong with her no parasites or anything and the vet sent me home with centrum for the diarrhea and throwing she was fine after a day or so im not able to take her to the vet(im in a wheelchair and i need someone to drive me) until friday or saturday so im not sure what to do could this just be a little stomach bug ?

Sounds to me as if you have a failing mass air flow sensor. If the signal is hazy it will not set a code, making a true diagnosis possible only with a lab scope. They are spendy, so a shop diagnostic may be a good idea.

Strange grinding/ thumping noise from front of car?

I drive a 97 eclipse spyder and it just started making an odd grinding noise when in 3rd, 4th or 5th gear and I let off the gas. As soon as I push the gas back in, it stops. I have had a burning tongue, and mouth bumps under my tongue, along my gums, and feels like in my throat as well for almost 2 weeks. Also, my mouth has a weird taste, kind of like chicken broth or something as weird as that sounds when I wake up in the morning. I recently had oral given and received (about 3 weeks ago) with a new partner and now I'm terrified I have something. I've also had headaches, a vaginal yeast infection (which i've treated already) and still some general discomfort down there, but as far as I can tell no sores or blisters in the genital area SO FAR. I feel like the timing is too much of a coincidence for it to be something else other than an STD, but i'm just praying its nothing incurable like herpes or anything. My tongue stopped burning after a few days but is still a lil sensitive and mainly the thing worrying me is these bumps that seem to keep spreading in my mouth. They don't seem to hurt except w/e is in near my throat near the back of my tongue, but I can't see if that's bumps or what. Is it possible for herpes to hurt your tongue but the actual bumps not hurt?? Sometimes I didn't even notice the burning tongue as much when I wasn't thinking about it. I know I need to go to the doctor, but I can't get an appt til next month. I did get tested 2 weeks ago already (a week after) and everything came out negative, but that was only a week after so I know it could have been false negatives. I didn't get tested for herpes, but will be sure to do so when I go back to the doc. I also feel I should note that as far as I can tell he did not have any open lesions or sores anywhere on his lips or genitals, and he says he is clean but idk bc I found out afterwards he has had several partners. I also know that you can spread herpes without a visual outbreak, but that's also confusing bc some ppl say its possible, and some ppl say there has to be an actual visible outbreak. Please help, i'm freaking out and hoping that whatever it is, its curable!!!

I started counting calories with the LoseIt! app on my iPod and I lost 30 pounds in a month and my friend was really excited that I lost weight that quickly so she decided to jump on to the weight loss train. She was never actually big to begin with, she weighed 108 and wanted to bring it down to 100. Since we started losing weight, she always has to make comments to me. For example, if we go out to eat and I want to pick something from the menu, she'll say "Do you know how many calories are in that? Are you sure you can eat that today?" She worries about my calories in a condescending way like I don't know what I can and can't eat! I'm better about my calories than she is and I always pre-plan my meals for the day just to make sure it fits in my calorie budget, so for her to treat me like an idiot, it ticks me off. Another thing, since it's summer, we usually go out to swim in her pool or to the beach, and everytime she sees me in a bikini, she'll tap my stomach and say "OOooh! someone's chunky!" I laugh along with her, but it really bugs me. Even if i'm not in a bikini, like, if i'm just wearing shorts and a t-shirt, she'll say something about my jiggly thighs or my chicken wing arms. I'll try to make a comeback like, you have jiggly thighs too, but she'll just say "well it's not as bad as yours!". I hate being around her now because she annoys me with her comments. How can I deal with this? or better yet, how can I make her stop?

Ideas on what to feed my 1 yr old for lunch?

okay so he is 14 months old. and he has a very very picky 3 year old big brother. he and his brother eat really good for me for breakfast, and he's easy to feed for dinner because he normally eats what we eat. but i normally don't sit down and eat lunch with them, my 3 year old only has certain foods that he will eat for lunch, and i don't want my 1 year old being picky like that. and i don't want to feed him the same things every single day.. so far what i do feed him is things like, halves of ham/ turkey sandwiches, he loves grilled cheeses, chicken nuggets, all sorts of vegetables but so far i am scared to feed him raw veggies as he doesn't have all of his teeth yet, he loves fruit and i try to mix that up, he loves yogurt, but he gets fruit and yogurt some times for breakfast along with his cereal or whatever..... i thought i would ask you guys about what you feed your little ones for lunch every single day? he has also gotten in to this phase where he thinks its funny to toss his food over the side of the highchair and so more is ending up in the floor and then in the trash then is ending up in his tummy.. i just want to try and fix stuff that i know he will love to eat. he's a great eater and i want to continue to build on that, but i am afraid if i feed him what the 3 year old eats all of the time he will also grow to be picky.. thanks..

When I first started the role was called 'Electronic Warfare Operator' and then changed the role name in 1991 for some reason. After completing my trade training which took 2 years, I was promoted to Lance Corporal straight away (they do this for technician roles as well). I was then sent to Loughborough for language training (Russian) alongside the Intelligence Corps. My first posting was to Krefeld in Germany with 14 Signal Regiment with further postings in Germany. I was not required in the first Gulf war but was sent to Bosnia and Kosovo. The Royal Corps of Signals is an excellent corps to be a part of and it has a long and proud history. If you live anywhere near Blandford, the Corps have a museum there.

Hardgainer needs help!?

Ok so I have been training for about 6 years now. While the first two were filled with impressive gains, the years following were filled with frustration as I managed to pack on maybe one or two more pounds of muscle PER YEAR. I have tried many routines, as well as eating up to 7 meals a day consisting mainly of grain carbs and lean chicken. I am 5'10 and weigh about 160-165 and am probably around 13% body fat. The problem is, no matter how much or how often i eat and how intensely I train, I am not seeing results like I should. Recently I read about "abbreviated routines" for hardgainers, consisting of maybe only 3 compound exercises per workout performed only twice per week. My initial impression is that this seems shockingly low and that I am capable of much more than this. It is likely that I have been overtraining, but cutting down to that extent seems daunting. So my question is, is such a routine right for my body type and does anyone have experience with abbreviated routines? I will supplement such a routine with around 4,000 calories per day.

What kind of diet should you have if trying to get a 6 pack?

Building muscle takes burning calories that you take in. When you work out you are burning away muscle that your body is instantly rebuilding (to be tougher and stronger) doing nothing but dieting won't get you anywhere as a 6 pack is concerned. Boys often eat a ton because we are building muscle which takes energy (which is given off by the burning of calories) eat as much as you want (as long as its HEALTHY chocolate and chips and I'm afraid to say McDonalds won't cut it) but doing it isn't all really hard core you CAN indulge one or twice every couple of weeks as long as you don't let it become 2 or 3 times a week. Doing an ab circuit or weighted sit ups/ crunches should work your upper abs. And a tree trunk (twisting your abs while holding a weighted ball) will work your lower abs. Good luck

Friday morning my 2 year old yorkie threw up yellow bile, which was not normal for her. She did it again Saturday,Sunday,Monday and Tuesday morning and was fine for the rest of the day afterwords. I took her to her vet on Tuesday afternoon and he felt her stomach and listened to her heart. He said to put her on a special diet of boiled chicken mixed with white rice and see if it settles her stomach down, hoping she might have just ate something that didn't agree with her stomach. He said if she was still sick by Thursday to bring her back in for blood tests and what not. Good simple recipe for chicken empanadas?

Help. I have made beef empanadas before but never chicken. After some research on-line I've found a ton of recipes with too many ingredients and they all seem to call for hard boiled eggs. This makes me question the entire recipe. I've had chicken empanadas before that were made by a Puerto Rican family member and there wasn't any egg in them. Maybe she cut it so small I couldn't tell. Not sure. I do recall a tomato flavor and green olives. I know that different nationalities cook their food differently. When I shoot it sounds normal but the ball just roles out or sometimes goes about 15 feet. There is a kink in the hose but I did work it out but it is bent in a little. Could that be it. P90x at 14 years old?continue?

I'm 14, i used to do p90x a long time ago but gave up at 3 weeks and already saw results at 3 weeks. Well anyways, i don't force my self to do the work outs since my bones are still growing and muscles. And, I don't have a strict diet because im not fat plus i'm only 14 years old and i need those nutrients. But since 90% of workout is based on nutrition, what can i eat that has high protein stuff?(natural not powder). My mom feeds me right she doesn't feed me greasy stuff. It's pretty much home made food but healthy. And i have tuna, yogurt, fish, and meat, chicken. So that's all i know. What else can i buy that i can make a quick lunch out of? Also if your saying no to my age i have read everything about working out at a young age. And i'm doing all the exercises correctly i take breaks, etc. Also yesterday i just started day 1 all over again since i stopped like 3 months ago or more. My chest and back and abs are sore since i haven't worked out in a while. So can i continue?

Yes, I am not very normal person, and please keep the criticism to your self. To start it off I am not a christian, while most of the population is christian/catholic, this might give me trouble in the future... What is causing my car to make a metal grinding noise?

It is a 97 mitsubishi eclipse spyder with 145k miles. It runs just fine but the only problem is a metal grinding noise. It only happens in 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear when i let off the gas. As soon as I push the gas back in, or throw it into neutral, it stops. It also make the same noise when rolling in neutral, it is more of a metal thumping noise that seems to go with the tire rotation. I took it to a local shop and they said they couldn't detect where the noise was from but would replace my transmission for $2300. I'm lost on this one! I think it's a bad wheel bearing or maybe a cv joint. I'm thinking the reason it stops when I put on the gas is because it has something to do with the compression. Any ideas?

You shouldn't open it. You have to attach it to the gun, and load it up and fire (make sure safety is off I broke the trigger of my first gun because of this ha). Opening will be wasting gas.

I have been Driving for almost 47 years of my life and hold a class A drivers license and In the past ten years in my state they have added bicycle lanes to our streets and here of late it seems that people who ride bikes or walk along the highway have no concern for their safety when crossing the street. Just the other day a man walked out in front of four lanes of traffic I was in the far left lane of this one way street and other large cars were to the right of me. All of a sudden the car just in front of me doing 45 miles per hour (Speed Limit is 50 mph) slammed on his brakes then in the next lane the next car did the same thing and finally I had to do the same as a idiot walked threw traffic at no cross walk not looking up or around to see if traffic was coming or not. If I had not slammed on the brakes I would of hit him as it were I was just a few inches from him as he walked by all the cars were honking their horns at this guy and scared the crap out of me. He did not look up even at me even as close as I came to hitting him. Now I don't understand this type of behavior he was a young kid in his teens with a hood on his head. The next thing Is people walking into the street not paying attention to traffic lights or obeying traffic signs. I was driving down the street when a kid was going the wrong way with parked cars on the side of the road blocking my view of this bicyclist who came flying into my lane at a stop light I had the right of way and was going below the speed limit. He darted right out in front of me hands off his steering wheel and I almost hit min because he ran the red light and I could not see him and if I had been looking the Other way I would of killed him because of the size of my truck. My question is Are not kids taught safety riding their bike's anymore? are they not taught pedestrian safety anymore in schools? or parents not teaching them? And this year alone we have had ten by-cyclist killed involved in car truck related crashes. If they don't obey the law in some cases it's almost impossible to avoid hitting someone on a bike. Last year three cyclist were killed as they were riding side by side in a group and all of them were killed running a red light and a semi truck hit them. Can anyone tell me what is happening to our young people don't they know a car at an average weight of 3500 pounds traveling at 35 MPH will kill them before they can stop? And it seems the more bicycle lanes they add the worse it gets. Cooking chicken breast-it shrinks and becomes rubbery!?
