Protect the great barrier reef?

There is already some protection of the Great Barrier Reef by both state and federal governments and that legislation controls impact by humans. A lot of the Great Barrier Reef is falls under the GBRMPA and so it is a marine park, like a national park on land, making it protected with low impact.
