Is it possible to remove a top comment from a YouTube video w/o removing the comment?

When a video has a lot of views, they take newer comments with a lot of thumbs up and replace the older comments (like yours). I know because I made a comment that got 150+ thumbs on "Baby" and it got replaced by one with 12 thumbs.
