How to tell what kind of engine a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse spyder convertible has?

i saw an ad online for a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse spyder convertible . but it doesnt say which kind of engine it has. i know that the gst gives 200 HP and the gs gives 141 HP....is there a way by looking at the engine what kind of engine it is. if its the gs or gst..also how to tell the gsx engine....also r these good cars?...da car is an automatic
