Is a spyder marker a good value for a first gun?

So in my local craigslist a guy is selling a bunch of spyder markers. He has a victor, victor2, fenix, S.E., avenger2, and a pirahna R6. they are each 50 dollars and all work. im looking at buying one of them, and then buying a tippmann 98 custom package from a different buyer because i want two markers to play with my friends. Do any of these guns sound like a good deal for a first gun? I have heard mixed results about spyder.
