Missed court in ny for open countainer ticket in a motor vehicle?

I had gotten a open countainer ticket in a traffic stop in bronx on early april and was suppose to pay a 25$, but i forgot all about it and they sended a letter sayin i have court the 9th of june and i missed it.( i live in ct ) and i try callin them but they make it so difficult because it's hard to speak with an operator. What would happen to me? Can they arrest me, report it to the dmv? HELP !
