How hard is to be a truck driver (not owner operator)?

i am thinking about shifting my career towards the trucking industry but haven't researched much bout it lets call this my first attempt to know the business all i know is these guys make lots of money but not aware of the conditions of the jobs i am a loner so if being solitary is one of the issues is not mine but please give your opinion and advice need to sort out things i my head before proceed
